Did you just drive by my place and not call in for a cuppa?Back door of me garage has been rotting away for some time and is beyond recovery, so I've been on the lookout for a replacement - which I found on the bay last night. New, still in shrink wrap hardwood external door - got it for 41 sovs and went to collect it today. My route was a bit back lanes on what must be the worst roads in lincolnshirshire, surfaces hammered to deep ruts by heavy farm machinery. But no problem for a tratter . So I've got a noo door to play with and had a jolly ride out in me bogey .
A bit of Castrol R in a hub cap with a candle under it will have you in rapturessmelling of oily garage now, wonderful fragrance, wonder why nobody has bottled it yet to sell and make a fortune.
Nay lad, I was over on the Trent Bank near Gainsborough. Sometimes visit my dottir at Digby, next time I'm down I'll drop in for a cuppa with you.Did you just drive by my place and not call in for a cuppa?
