Can you imagine if JLR made people?
They'd be draughty (some more than others), known to leak, or have water retention issues. Pipework would over pressurise randomly, especially as they get older. Bits tend to seize up with age/use with a general low down and lack of puff as time goes on.
You'd be able to get replacement parts, but they'd not be as good as the original, probably not fit that well and need continual tinkering

Nice that you still get a sense of satisfaction at work.In two hours we managed to get a stalled project back on track. Well worth the effort in going in

I do, it is a lot of effort with the wheelchair etc but when you can fix things it really gives a buzz!Nice that you still get a sense of satisfaction at work.
Happy for you. Would be even happier if you could get out of the wheelchair. Is there any chance of that? Or should I not have asked? Don't want to upset you.I do, it is a lot of effort with the wheelchair etc but when you can fix things it really gives a buzz!
There is some hope but it is a long process. You won't upset me no worriesHappy for you. Would be even happier if you could get out of the wheelchair. Is there any chance of that? Or should I not have asked? Don't want to upset you.
Slight shame though......twatted the lhs wing mirror and broke a bit of plastic in the mounting part. Not "broke OFF" you unnerstand, just broke. So ordered some of that Q-Bond superglue stuff to see if I can fix it.
