Can you imagine if JLR made people?
They'd be draughty (some more than others), known to leak, or have water retention issues. Pipework would over pressurise randomly, especially as they get older. Bits tend to seize up with age/use with a general low down and lack of puff as time goes on.
You'd be able to get replacement parts, but they'd not be as good as the original, probably not fit that well and need continual tinkering

Just got back from the tip charity shop run.
The Disco is running very well indeed, obvious improvement!:):):) and bizarrely quieter?!
Slight shame though......twatted the lhs wing mirror and broke a bit of plastic in the mounting part. Not "broke OFF" you unnerstand, just broke. So ordered some of that Q-Bond superglue stuff to see if I can fix it.:mad::mad:
Was so peed off with my self I forgot to fill the tank.
so off out again to do that.
But I'll now have to reverse out of our stoopidly tight car parking place with no left mirror, maybe I'll tape it on some how.
More :mad::mad::mad::mad:
All the best for a nice day peeps!
:):):)

Stan has just reminded me I need doosil for the machines. Im off see yezz :):)
There was a mighty queue, and I had to put the card in twice, obvs, but got it at £1.789, not the £1.999 just down the road!
I have zeroed the tripmeter to check the consumption as the Disco is now running SOOOOO well!:):):)
And i used a bit of gaffer tape to hold the end of the mirror in where it needs repairing and not only did it stay there but I can still shift it, well mostly, with the control!:):)

Here's an odd one. You know my Dutch mate with the Mitsubishi?
Well he ordered a window winding mechanism from eBay to be delivered to me, so I could bring it over for him, as he cannot get one either in France or in Holland.
I got a letter from Parcelforce saying they had it but I had to pay £42 for VAT and handling. As it came from Germany.
So I scanned it and emailed it to him and he came back on to say that the German place remanufactures stuff but cannnot sell it in the EU so they sell it worldwide, therefore including us! Weird or what?
So he's paid the VAT and it'll be with me Monday.
Isn't the world a wonderful place?!:):):)
