just order click'n'collect two plastic fuel jerrycans for the petrol for the genny.
needed a bit of paper to write the number down on, turned in my seat to get a bit out of my "useful tray" which sits on a small table next to me.
What do I espy?
One of the two tape measures that are supposed to have been left behind in Frogland!:rolleyes:
Never mind, it has a bend in it at the 19.5 cm mark that I have never been able to completely flatten out.
but nevertheless, it wasn't where it should have been. Grrr! Not like me to not have put ti back!

I remember now!
Months ago W asked to borrow one and I bet she put it there, or she just handed it to me and I just put it there.
More Grr!
Now in search of paraffin for the Tilley lamps, which I haven't even tested yet.

Afternoon folks:).

Hope Monday has been good to you all:).

Well its been drizzly today, we can only hope that will mean they turn the wata back on for more than 2hrs;), The toilet system squeaked today as wata came it filled it but that was it no water to the taps:(. Bloody tourists:mad:.

So have had a day of searching paperwork and e-mails. The Indian tax bods are wanting me to give docs and pay tax, They have 2 hopes:D. Went through this in 2016 & 2018 and now again:rolleyes:. Told them haven't lived or worked there since Dec 2015 and it was all sorted by the company.
Its because I opened an account in Dec 2015 there and used the Indian address and forgot to change it:rolleyes:.
So have just sent him 1 more doc and politely told him to cross reference my old Indian tax number (and go away yourself) They like being spoken to politely:rolleyes:

But what he has failed to understand is, he isn't getting any more of my money and if he says "well if you ever come back to India" I will have to speak my mind about the chances of that happening:eek::D:D.

Now what's for tea:D.

I went into my MOT testers place to chat to Andy Saunders who runs it, he of car creation fame, he wern't there but his latest creation is, not quite finished.....

amazing what you can make out of an old Riley 1.5!!!!!
Not sure the model I did see it and I think it may have been one of the RM series. I'll have to ask him when I see him.
Anyway I didn't see himso couldn't chat to him about hi GF buying W's Chesil.:(

Funnily, I did see an electric chainsaw, Titan for £45 on special.
So I did think of W cos she has been saying she wants one.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
I mentioned it to her when we got back and at that dosh I don't think we can go wrong.
and it AIN'T battery ;):D:D:D!
My petrol chainsaw is a Titan and it's good as gold!:):):)

Nope just the power cuts!
(Plus I like playing with stuff.;)) We just saw them at the auction and fancied them, as we collect oil lamps anyway, and they remind us both of camping in our childhoods.
Having been on the Tilley lamp site, boy did we make a killing.
A replacement glass alone would be £27 plus P&P, and we got two Tilleys plus about 5 spare wicks, all the stuff necessary to make em go, AND a spare glass. for £20 plus auction fees. :):):). It even came in a custom made box, presumably made by a previous owner. Made so well the spare glass sits in it exactly so it can't move and break.
I tried one this afternoon with a new wick and the paraffin it came with, :eek: and it worked fine, until the paraffin that was any good ran out! (I tipped the rest out, it was mostly water!) didn't quite have time to take a pic.;)

Used to have it on a pump round here years ago, dunno if they still do. Used to have red diesel too
