I've already got a 300 tdi. an Anniversary too! Which i love to bits.
But it is rusty and will need a shed load of work before I can use it again.
I only got the TD5 as I had to get an auto cos I couldn't drive when I had my meninigioma and Wifey can only drive autos as her left foot is paralysed. And as life moves on we have used it ever since, although I have been back on driving since about early 2015.
I am sure all the feckin TD5 needs is a new sensor or summat as once it leaves the start line it drives fine, even with its split intercooler tube. But it is just hugely embarrassing pulling so slowly on to a roundabout. I have to be grateful to all the Frogs who didn't hoot at me as i did it. :):)
