... some things make my blood boil.:mad::mad:
My 94 YO neighbour has just been ripped of by those nice itinerant chaps who offer to do "repairs" to your property.
He's a lovely chap struggling with a very sick wife and a lot of pressure.
Sadly, its one of the usual SCAMs. Card thru door, building maint & repairs, good rates Call Mick & paddy etc. etc.
Foolishly he called the number. They turned up and quoted £200 to do some minor repair work to his roof. While he was out they destroyed large sections of his roof and when he came back they said £20k to repair.
These are evil unscrupulous men.
Police are aware and all of us neighbours will now be watching and filming them if they return.

Fkn low life scum  if I was closer id have a look at it, Id call the number from another address
& surprize them with an ally bat they do make a nice zinging sound when used properly.

Edgars been on the good stuff again this afternoon. Me second watta butt is now full and just about to start filling the third. So thats another 40L today. Was due to go food choppin after wuk but felt sad so dint go. Lucky eye still has milk fer breakfust. Bread and butter fer lunch.

Right so youve been hiding one from me get the pics out laddie.
You dont really need the v8 :D
The one you have missed is in bits in the garridge. Rolling chassis with the tub mounted on it, front wings, bonnet etc in the roof, rest of it all over the place including inside the house. (I keeps electrical bits inside so they don't go to rust rack and ruin!)
My Dad once took a pic of me in my overalls (which I hardly ever wear) with the Marlin and the one just mentioned together enough to pass the MOT. In my garage. Must have been taken around the time I got it registered. It's been in bits ever since, and he died in 1998. :(
I don't NEED the V8, I jest feckin love it!:):):)

Was this over Lillibet?
Wifey was born the year she got married.
For both of us she has seemed like a rock in our lives.
W got emotional so needed a big hug, which made me emotional too.
The end of an era is too small a way to describe it.
