Morning all I spent most of last night deleting all the cr@p that people send me on WhatsApp
then going through 2000 odd pics & deleting the ones I dont want, then putting what was left
of them on my external hard drive.

Anyhoo I brought another one of me motors out of storage to clean up :)
Have a nice day.:)

Very nice, with WhatsApp you can go in to the settings go to storage and autodownload and deselect the settings so you can still view but shouldn't keep the media on your phone.

Morning All :D
Some decent rain overnight it looks like (didn't hear it) :)
Shopping day. :(
I think I will be asked to start the repapering of the downstairs bog (sorry, "Cloakroom") today. :(
She's made a right mess of the painting. Runs & curtains everywhere. Best say nothing though. :(
Have a good day. :D

I hate painting, good luck.
Morning all, still breathing.Going back into hospital tomorrow for some IV treatments. Hope everyone is well.

Fingers crossed it goes well.

Good thing he is papering over it then.
I don't mind either although papering in a confined space with pipes etc to cut around will be a pain.
But the work he'd have to do to get back to a decent surface to repaint would be a right nightmare too.
Hope he remembers to size the walls first!!!;););)

Could yer help oot and fit some oles for them?
That is how pathetic things have become. He spent longer explaining how the contract for installation included drilling one wall and getting advice from a remote manager than it would to drill the hole. By the time they had plucked a figure from thin air about the new cost the tech had wasted half a day. Nobheads! Anyway, I’m no closer to getting a charger fitted now as everyone is busy or bound by the same daft installation metrics.
A relative ordered an EV in Luxembourg and got €8k contribution from .gov and installed a charger another €3k and got €2k+ back as an incentive…no hassles. We in the UK push a green agenda and leave all the costs to the buyer and to add insult the contractors ramp up all the prices.

The bit I will be papering is the area between all the poorly-painted panelling on the lower half of the room and the coving.
I did say at the start that the whole re-paint was unnecessary, but no-one listens to me.
She will have painted this panelling 6 times.
Two coats with a colour she chose and then decided she didn't like.
Two coats of Zinsser BIN to cover that up.
Two coats of Satin White.
.....and it now looks worse than it did before she started. :(
I always size the walls. :)

I did the kitchen during lock down only because I was fed up of a green kitchen. But be honest and say it looks ****e. Or say I don't think we have achieved the aesthetic desire we hoped for.

That doesn't sound cheap especially the Zinsser BIN which is feck off good but not cheap!
I'd also be telling her you cannot start it until it has dried right out and that with all these coats on it'll take a few...........months!

So what colour did you do it, "Taupe" "Battleship Grey" (I can't remember the daft name I had to pain ours but it looks.....grey!)
