Afternoon folks

Up early and the friend and her sis were ready for the off to go do the tourist thing

. She made it and now has built her confidence to drive places here, which is great

.

We have manly just vegged out, with a dip now and again

No need to cook as I made a huge amount of tatty salad/coalslaw and other bits yesterday

.

Easy day which is nice as its a bit on the wam side out there.

I'm sat outside a pub in castlefield waiting to get into the James gig. Lots of people of a certain age wearing James t shirts. Gonna guess that, like myself, they were a lot younger and slimmer at Alton towers thirty years ago.

.... it has been an interesting day.

My "mate" from the Holland trip is struggling with "why" we should continue our association now the target is achieved (I didn't know there was a target or that without one I would become superfluous).
I fixed one of the garden wind-sculptures with new bearings (herself is really pleased).
I ferried my lad & his kids around (kiddies parties etc.) and lost my peaceful afternoon.
My chest hurts like it has a small smouldering fire buried somewhere within.
