Watching Rick Wakeman.
He sounds a bit "classical" at the mo.
hope it gets better!

I too am looking forward to the pics.
BUT, don't know what it's like in Scotty land, but there are loads of places in the UK and abroad, where MHs simply cannot park up. Which is why so many of them have either bikes, or motorbikes or even a towed car on an A frame behind them.
We see a shed load of them going up and down the mountain road between Mazamet, our nearest town and Carcassonne, and there is a lake nearby which does have parking for MHs. but so often we see places where there is a barrier designed to stop MHs entering. We have thought about getting one, but this has put us off. However we still can physically hitch up a caravan should we need to.
Our son comes to visit us most summers in his MH and so far we have managed to always find somewhere to pull over. Guess you just have to plan your routes.
Feck, don't tell me you were considering something else?????Ive seen places with barriers my D1 had no chance of getting under them with the lift kit/roof rack
and tent on the top so its easier to drive over embankments through streams ect to get a nice spot.
I might be better with a 4x4 camper.

That is good news.I have membership of both the Caravan and motorhome and the Camping and Caravan clubs so that I can make use of all their large and small sites, although I do like to use the Adult-only sites in the group called Tranquill Parks. I feel safer amongst a few other people rather than go it alone - it was different when there were two of us.
Seen the Light???Oh my G he's playing hymns now with a flipping choir singing along.
what the feck is going on?
He used to be such a hard rocker!
Feck only knows!Seen the Light???
Unfortunatly not like that! It is 'code' for NO CHILDREN so we can 'ave some peace and quiet. That is good news.
always knew you'd be organised!
mind you the "Adult Only" sites do sound like a bit of dogging or other naughtiness might go on there.
"when the rig is a -rocking, don't come knocking!"

My awaited MH is a small 2 berth Auto-sleeper BOURTON with a Merc engine and auto gear box - sadly no auto-pilot though.
Build quality - hand built in a very small British factory, together with the Merc engine and auto box and high quality 'bits' in it, all backed up by a fantastic after-sale service and warranty. Small details like the on-board gas tank, heated fresh and grey water tanks for winter use and full winterisation of the vehicle for year round use, high quality furnishings for long lasting comfort and use etc. etc. etc.Right!
thanks for telling us, i'll be agooglin it now to see what it looks like and whether it is like my brother's. Altho i think his is Italian, at least in some ways.
Just had a look at the Bourton site.
They seem very nice.
But don't know how they can justify the price of the new ones.
When our son bought his he drove from Paris to Germany to buy one as they are/were a bit cheaper over there.
To think I bought our first house a 2 up 2 down terraced place for only £23k in 1984!
And Good Morning to you. The sun is shining here and there is blue sky for a change, with a few clouds promising to do their evil deed as the day progresses.Morning my happy family
