Good day so far.
Doggy went to vet and I was told she was OK, just finish all the tabs. and ointment.
They are pretty sure she had an abscess but can't say what caused it and her eye is much better.
Asked them if I owed them anything and they said "No".
Woke up in the car park with someone fanning me with their cap!!;):D:D:D
Painted the feckin utility room ceiling. God what an orrible job.
Old, and I suspect unpainted, Artex. Also the ceiling lights are a central two branch thing with 4 spots on it, Useless for helping me see what I'm doing.
Ornery white paint, not thixotropic nor nuffin.
So ended up having to hold the handle with a succession of sheets of kitchen towel to stop myself dropping it.
Being unfit by the end not only were my arthritic thumbs playing me up but also my right shoulder.:(:(:(
So different from doing the smooth ceilings in France with a roller and a cutting in brush. Much messier too.
Still, done now and have rewarded myself with a pint of Doombar.

I Know I can pop in and have a little giggle and it puts a smile on my face:)

to see some comments about a ceiling, a rotten roof, even new rattles owner worried but self induced, cats;) or even the savings in sainberries.

Me neither, Chase Lounge as the Merkins will have it, Chaise Longue as the Frogs will cos they think it's a long chair while the rest of u know it's a sort of day bed, where you can have a cheeky J Arfur at the porn ont pooter!;)
 
Oh and Sh!tfurnitureland say they have refunded the money via Paypal, which they said they couldn't do initially.
AND that they wouldn't do as we have now involved the credit card company.
They really can't make up their minds what they are doing.
But at least they have now made a written statement which involves words stating they are/will/want to refund the money, which they hadn't done before!
As I said to them in my email, I'll believe it has happened when Paypal tell us it has happened.
But it is at least a big step forward.
