hahahahaha, just try doing that in your defender
Water - in a Freelander - don't the doors fall off
Yep. Water drips in and water drips out. ound: Don't know why they put up with it. Praps they don't know vehicles can be built properly. Every time I see a tratter on the road I turn the heating to cold and tip water down me back as a mark of respect.Doors don't fall. Besides you're only jealous cos tratters have more holes than a sieve

We're just evening out some of the **** taking we're received over many years. Would take many years to catch up so don't worry. We could always kill oft this thread and post all over the tratter section instead or stay in ere if you prefer?
Am glad yer likes yer tratter.
Freelanders rule.
Owt you like pet.....but it's a pointless exercise your better off counting sand grains....you might get somewhere
got a response from you didn't it
and thats the point of the thread.....................i think
Yes it got a response, but its soooo daft the argument put forward is as flawed as the fox hunting one was.
In one breath you say all landrover a are equal!
In the same breath you say yours are better because they've got 'this suspension. Those brakes, and air con'
It's a blathering car, it's just personal choice.
It's no better or worse than the next gypsy caravan, but yes it has a better go at off road which is more than can be said of the other 4wd's in its category. But really it's a family saloon with useful capabilities and more comfort.
The defender is what it is a utilitarian vehicle unless Alive tuning have got hold of it the it becomes a 'refined' (their words) gypsy caravan too.
i've never said a freelander was better than a tractor. I merely highlight the pros and cons of each marque.
Erf you be nitpicking you personally may not have said it but the general consensus of the freelander owner has been to try sell the all singing all dancing gypsy caravan to the owners of a utility vehicle.........it's a little like land rover trying to create/replace the defender with summit else.
Even the bleddy puma has to much phaffage inside......and no air vents.....I always wanted vents! Some of us genuinely love basic functionality
Me thinks someone has read the whole fred. It's an interesting fred so I can see why.Yes it got a response, but its soooo daft the argument put forward is as flawed as the fox hunting one was.

We're happy to talk amongst ourselves but also welcome the tratterers to join us too. This fred didn't really start with a purpose but gained one as momentum followed. Promoting Freelandering to those who choose to abuse us. We have many things in common. We spend a lot of time fixing our vehicles, they're all made by land rover, we all like our own vehicles and take part in the 4x4 community.
Freelanders rule.
If you were to buy a puma tratter then I think you'd be able to easily cut out some vents in the front. All it needs is one person to try it and tell theirs how to do it. It may be difficult to position adjustable flaps and mount them but someone will become interested and make you a modification kit so you can do the job easier. May not fit proper and will probably be difficult to stop leaks but that just means the mod will adhere to the usual traits of a tratter.Erf you be nitpicking you personally may not have said it but the general consensus of the freelander owner has been to try sell the all singing all dancing gypsy caravan to the owners of a utility vehicle.........it's a little like land rover trying to create/replace the defender with summit else.

We dun't use hair spray. It's probably the air freshener I put in the bogs. Stinks in there so I thought it would freshen it up a bit.Are you lot STILL in ere making the place look untidy
Feckin stinks of hairspray as well, ma pig will be having breathing difficulties if he has to put up with much more of this
