Terrible thing bulling, my misses is in social work an was high up in the childrens panel I kept saying
send them little sh!ts to young offenders jail. That'll sort em out. :D
I couldnt do her job. fook that.

I have been looking for a van to convert for myself, ive had a caravan as always me = ah bigger is better
no it aint not for our roads. o_O Had to keep it on site then never used it.
That's interesting about your missus.
We had a neighbour in the same sort of job. She had to go into houses that the police wouldn't go into alone. She suffered with being always working at a higher level than she was really trained for (or paid for). She said that they were so understaffed and had to work so far behind that the cases became totally desperate. She packed it in in the end before she had a breakdown. So hats off to your missus. I could never do that job!
and agree about what to do with the little sh!ts!!!

We know a few peeps who want to or have converted vans. Including our son. I also heard that doing it with stuff intended for boats is, or was, cheaper!?
Problem is there are so many places you cannot drive a van into, We had to park one in Castres the other day. We only managed it cos a market had recently finished and the car park it was on was for a short while empty, but we drove round the middle of the town twice before being able to do it. Is your Disco not quite big enough or summat? I know your missus doesn't like camping.
We discussed this the other day after having been out for about an hour both ways on twisty but A roads in son's van.
Bloody uncomfortable if you weren't sitting in the front, but Ok for two I suppose.
I'd also put a bloody big AR bar on the back!! rolled like a trawler in a storm!
We both agreed we'd still rather have a caravan as you can park it up then go around in the car like normal. and we've done so much towing even on quite narrow lanes, that we don't mind it.
But yes, agree, wouldn't want a big one.
We are still thinking of buying a little cabin cruiser to put on the canals here, but Brexit has fecked that for the mo!

My brother has built a couple of campers an has templates for worktops, cupboards ect also my
dad has just bought a new one & stripped out the old one. He has a rock n roll bed & stunning leather
captains chairs for up front plus a load of other gear, I just need to find a free van :D:D

First undercoat on the garage door :). Rest of the day off as its poets day (even us re-tyred types celebrate it). And SWMBO is back from the coop with the comestibles for a full english :):):)
Must admit I had to look that up..... I am also celebrating it (even though I didn't know it, I must be a poet ) yay being retired :D

Well got out and under, the gearbox is nearly full of ATF so HUGE relief!!:):):):)
So the problem lies either with the sensor or with muck in the ATF cooler's fins.:(
I have posted a little bit elsewhere, and looked in Rave, but I cannot find what to do to easily access the tranny cooler to give it a fairly gentle wash out with the hose.
I will persevere, but if anyone reading this knows, please tell as i don't want to waste time in this feckin heat and humidity.
Oh and by the way the "thrum...thrum", at higher speeds, has turned into a drone and a bit of vibration, still there when in neutral. So I am getting more and more sure it ought to be a prop. But that can wait until I've sorted out the high ATF temps.
to think this day of the week used to be my extra day off when I went part time, two years before retirement!!!
Han't had a Friday off in Years!:(
