Mostly dry and bright today.
Found an extra £1000 in me bank account this morning, which was nice. Me government has finally paid me my income tax refund.

And Wifey has also had a letter from the HMRC telling her the £124 claim was down to a "technical error" and if she wished to take the claim to a higher level she did NOT have to inform her MP, get his backing.
They really do talk, and do, a lot of horsesh!t don't they?
Anyway, don't spend it all on pizza and beer!!!!!

Very sunny and hot here today.
Heard that Granddottir has got into Winchester to do her teacher training. A and two Bs.
Would believe it if she had had to take exams. (as we know what she is like) Poor teachers having to give their grades to students.
Mind you, like degrees, getting good grades in A levels etc is getting easier and easier.
So glad I'm out of it.
Still happy for her and her family and hope she stays the course. (Primary)

Had to go into the big boy town this morning as Ms glasses were falling apart, Well 1 of the nose pads had gone walkies, got them sorted 2 new pads FOC.
Picked up a few other bits to make it worth the trip. The traffic is getting worse, Second time we have been in town and had to use the little back roads as shortcuts to get round the traffic and it wasn't even rush hour time.
Ah its still ot and too late to start anything shame.

Oh no, I'm wrong of course, that was when Hitler decided all occupied countries should be on the same time.
