I have around 4 tonne capacity between the Landy and the trailer, so I am having to be a bit careful what I take Well we sat out tonight having a fag (yes we know) we both noticed something on the pool cover, looked like1 of the cats, even came a bit closer when called not good.
Let’s not get stupid, so M got our shoes, suggested she goes to the shallow end and call the stupid thing.
She gets there and calls, the bloody cat flew off, It’s 1 of the young owls we think we have 2-3 as they were sat on the posts last night, but you can only hear them squeaking and a sort of blob of lighter colour, then they take off and you see the light thing fly off.

Well as Wifey decided to stay in bed to endure her cold and sore head better, and as the weather was sh!t,, we didn't do much.
But once I proved to the grandson that his purge on the flies outside the house, on the patio, merely led to more coming in to dine on the corpses of said flies, stepson decided to get all "cleany" and borrowed gear to clean the whole patio, well two of them.
So brushes, water, washing up liquid and both grandchildren were gainfully employed doing this, which was fun!
We now have a nice clean patio! They got rid of a lot of mould too, that had accumulated over the last 8 months.
So lunch was had, then siestas, then Wifey cooked dinner, well part of, then took to her bed again, then we watched a DVD - "Camping" - hilarious, especially as on Monday that is exactly what the family will be doing.
Then just as they were leaving to kip I noticed an ants' nest on the threshold of the front door.
So I spent the next 3/4 hour, putting ant powder down and chucking stuff around in the hall while squishing the little beggars.
So has been an insectarresting day.

I woz at a mates fortieth birthday but also had an invite to a fiftieth birthday
Mates fortieth was a much better do. Woz there from 2pm until 9 then went to neighbours fiftieth. Everyone was arseholed by the time we got there so am now home
