.... that the anal-retentive OCD guy next door (who took his entire 1970's extension down "brick-by-brick" all last week and weekend) and has been treating us to 4 hours of SDS drilling the concrete slab of his old extension each day this week has now decided it is time to start using a proper "breaker" as we clearly have not had enough disturbance. :mad::mad::mad:
I pity the occupants of the 42 bed nursing home on the other side of him just as much as I hate all the noise myself.
Just so you know he is working hard, he also lights a smoldering bonfire to burn all the crap bits of wood he takes out of the building each day, so don't expect to sit in your garden enjoying any evening sunshine.
Some people...... Its like they think they are living in a "bubble". We know it has to get done, but "time & place" and all that. M-F 8 till 4 is fine, but after 5 is getting a bit of a ****-take I feel. :(

At the speed this bloke works, it will take 2 more weeks. It is all preparation for the start of a major house extension that starts 3rd week in August :(
Then "HE" + a mate will be digging the foundations, and then god only knows what will happen for the actual build. Allegedly "In by Xmas". So that's 4 months of hell at least. :(
I am hoping the Nursing home will weigh in with a complaint before I have to. ;)

Ah, that is rubbish! There is not a lot you can do unless he starts working 7 days a week. You will need some evidence before complaining to the council. Good luck.

There is little hope of getting it back in cash form, but I can get him to spend it as he likes to throw cash about. ;)
The misses said again tonight she's very surprized I havent bounced him all over the place. I shall carry on as normal and do it another way. I have a plan watch this space. ;);)
