The weather has turned here, woken up to drizzle.
It is holding off but very cloudy here. The wind is getting quite brisk! The weather has turned here, woken up to drizzle.
...and we wonder why people fly tip!I am waiting until 9.00 for the tip to open. I hope to get at least three trips in today. I would have a skip but my current location requires a permit costing £134 each time. Add that to the £260 for the hire, it gets a tad expensive

No booking here but charges on a lot of items. Oil is limited to 10 litres a year!! The Landy takes 12 on its own.Round here you've got to pre-book as well. And the ridiculously limits on how much you can take means multiple trips over multiple days as they have numberplate cameras
Bit of a joke really

That is god awful and especially as they usually can recycle it and or get paid for it.No booking here but charges on a lot of items. Oil is limited to 10 litres a year!! The Landy takes 12 on its own.
Is that the tip by Arla or is yours the other side of Aylesbury? No booking here but charges on a lot of items. Oil is limited to 10 litres a year!! The Landy takes 12 on its own.
More than a bit.
Round ours in the UK it isn't quite so bad but you have to pick the day you go.
Worse thing for me was only being able to dump 1 gallon of oil per visit. As I said to the bloke, just doing an oil change on some of my vehicles involves more than a gallon.
He just shrugged and said that if he let me do more he'd have to let everyone else do more.
some peeps will end up tipping it down the drain, as they used to.
It's a 45 mile round trip to my nearest and then it is by appointment only. I have just decided it is better to store the rubbish and then get a skip in when I have enough to fill it, but that's not an easy task as they have so many rules as to what I can put in a skip.
Mine is the Aylesbury one. Quite local and a decent couple of lads running it. They are strict with the oil and batteries though! Is that the tip by Arla or is yours the other side of Aylesbury?
I had the same reaction. My NI is fully paid up. I was told to apply for PiP as I won't be working again. I just don't want to as I can still get about. Once that changes I will be right on itGuuid morn
TGIF
Dull n gray but looks like staying dry.
Had my tele interview for Job Seekers allowance yesterday, took ages as they were using an internet call and kept loosing the signal and dropping out.
40 mins later and full of apologies they said would have to wait 13 weeks as I left my previous job for no acceptable reason.
I said no point just cover my national insurance contributions, at which point they said I have probably covered my lifetime contributions having worked since age 16 !
Anyway off to do the big weekly shop
Have a great Friday
