obvs it also depends on the exchange rate which may be more important than the cost of the fool.
We just go to Leclerc and fill up any way, i am sufficiently interested now to see if I can find prices, but French websites are notorious for not giving them.

We are bonkers cos we, (take that back "I" cos Wifey can't be assed,) tear off the bits that need shredding and recycle the rest.
Also if you put too much "shreddies" in the wheelie bin they get upset!
We had so much to do recently we took it to a confidential waste place that deals with it for you. Wasn't too expensive. Less than £135 I have to say.
But then you'll have your to use next time.:D:D:D

This is why we always have at least two and normally three.
When we worked we did leave them in the house alone, but they kept each other company and just slept most of the time.
I was never out longer than 9 hours, so not much longer than the time we spent asleep!
They have never suffered with mental or physical conditions and we all get on fine. I could never have taken them to work. One colleague did have a Cocker puppy that she took to work and left in her car, :eek::eek::eek:.
Twas a Mini and it ripped the wiring apart.:rolleyes:
This was in the days before it became illegal. but having been a rep I know exactly how long it takes a parked car to heat up, even with the windows open. So we'd never do it.
The longest they ever spend in a car is on the journey to and from here, normally it is at a cool time of year but when we have had to do it in the summer, the aircon works, and moving with open windows gives good airflow. Again they just sleep. And they love the car so much we have to put them in before trying to pack the car else they would bark the place down.:):):):)
We also stop frequently, and sometimes they can barely be assed to get out!
 
Still hot here altho the sun has only been out intermittently. Luckily stayed in while I was swearing at the Disco from under neath it.
27 degrees C inside the house at the mo.
We will both be having cold showers in a bit.
Swearing occurred as i was trying to take the front offside wheel arch protectors off, to attend to the bloody fog light.
Obvs of the 5 screw only 3 came out, still managed to fold the bit of plastic up and out of the way. The foglights fixing were all bust, so I wired it in place with some garden wire, typical bush repair.
Put it all back together again wondering what the two tubes to it are for, assuming something to do with wading?
Answers on postcard please.;););)

Then fought to get the wheel back on.
"Somehow" managed to cross thread a nut. Well I did it cos I was too lazy to jack it up quite far enough to get the wheel properly on.
No tap big enough, so developed another method of cleaning out the threads, involving a small screwdriver!
Anyway back on, struggled with the nut that has swollen, in trying to get the socket off managed to bash my bad thumb and finger with a hammer. Talk about "ham fisted".
So that is end of play.
Calliper will have to wait.:rolleyes:

We have a lot to shred, over 40 years of stuff. I didn't used to throw anything away :) I have every pay slip for the last 40 years too!
 
Oh and did you know that there are so many French peeps in London that there are more there than in either Bordeaux, Strasbourg or Nantes. So Lunnen is now Frances 6th biggest city (estimates vary but the prog said about 500k, which i don't believe but it may well be 400k.)
Don't know why i mentioned this, you lot prolly don't give a poop!

I have still got every pay slip for the 34 yrs I taught.
Wifey tells me I/we keep too much stuff.
We got conscious of the risk of ID theft if we got burgled as we have so much paperwork with things like bank details on it.
But yes credit card statements going way back, utility bills, folders of receipts in case we needed to go for Small Claims over a consumer issue, the list is a long one. Also having two houses means twice the stuff.;)
so have you now found a place to move to? Or do you not want to say as frit of putting the fluence/kibosh on the whole thing?;)
