Whilst out and about yesterday, many people had already decided that about masks. I will not wear one once the restriction is lifted either.Hey-Ho, I shall not be bothering with a mask, my choice.
Have a great day everyone.
Plenty of folk not bothering already. 'just gorra get on wif lyfe'Whilst out and about yesterday, many people had already decided that about masks. I will not wear one once the restriction is lifted either.
Might be prudent for you to keep wearing a maskPlenty of folk not bothering already. 'just gorra get on wif lyfe'
Absolutely, but it became a law and I am law abiding. Once it is no longer a law, screw itPlenty of folk not bothering already. 'just gorra get on wif lyfe'
In that case, I had better wear my welding mask at all timesMight be prudent for you to keep wearing a mask
Well, I was going to suggest that anorlIn that case, I had better wear my welding mask at all times
Yet again, I am way ahead of the curve!Well, I was going to suggest that anorl
and thats it.. the unwashed majority.. whatever you call em.. do what they want, when they want, laws dont apply yet they're the first to cry when it all goes wrongAbsolutely, but it became a law and I am law abiding. Once ot is no longer a law, screw it
While it has been right & proper for everyone to play their part in reducing the ability of this virus to spread there does come a moment when (with over 52% of the population having been vaccinated) we have to say enough is enough.and thats it.. the unwashed majority.. whatever you call em.. do what they want, when they want, laws dont apply yet they're the first to cry when it all goes wrong
Indeed and some say it should have been like that from the start. Protect the vulnerable and let the rest deal with things. No matter how it was dealt with, it is something we all will have to live with going forwards. While it has been right & proper for everyone to play their part in reducing the ability of this virus to spread there does come a moment when (with over 52% of the population having been vaccinated) we have to say enough is enough.
If there is a section of the community that is still at extreme risk then the authorities should be focusing their attention on them and let the rest of us resume our lives with our fundamental freedoms restored (IMHO).
Did one go to Hogwarts?@kevstar my first serious drunk was a bottle of Gordons, neat, split with a mate while I was still at boarding school. Drank in 1/4 of an hour, drunk straight after. We were seriously ill and our mates had to hide us from prefects and staff!
Put me off gin for quite a while!
Exactly! Our old friend Influenza has claimed thousands most years and no-one batted an eyelid and we did not shut down the economy or remove peoples fundamental rights and freedoms. Everyone accepts that sadly "some" will indeed succumb to it. This is another virus with apparently variant-strains just like the flu. Our yearly flu-jabs are often misdirected against the wrong strain or just ineffective. Yes, Covid-19 CAN kill but it isn't an automatic death-sentence it is primarily those with co-morbidities or profound underlying health issues involving their respiratory system that are truly "at--risk" the rest of us will shrug it off after few bad days and carry on. I don't want anyone to die and I am not seeking to trivialise it, but there needs to be a sense of proportion. Either, the vaccine is effective and we can all rest easy, OR they are lying to us and the vaccine is just a placebo. They can't have it both ways I feel.Indeed and some say it should have been like that from the start. Protect the vulnerable and let the rest deal with things. Personally I have no thoughts either way. Nothing that has happened in the last 18 months, or indeed the last 55 years of my life will have any impact on the greater scheme of things!
agree to a point.. but.. (we're mostly sure its man made).. its unprecedented.. designed around research to find the most transmissible virus to cause the most deadly outcomes.. its not just regular flu or some other corona virus found in the wildExactly!
