Starting Monday may be a bit of a problem, I haven't paid for the land yet ;)
Seriously, how many months does it take to build a bungalow? I have no experience as I have only built a single skin workshop :)
Depends on the workforce and how the various other tradesmen tie into the job, the builder doing me extension just finished a swanky house in Morpeth took 7 months, reckons he could have done it in half the time if he
Don't worry about that bit! Get it services by an lpg guy if it's not been done in ages
catch you later, bairn needs the I pad-)

I would like it to have walls and a roof........ I am not fussy about the rest but I expect Mrs Landy will be a bit more particular!

Oh so she wants to decorate it in 2 months haha The trouble atm is materials everywhere is short
all across the board. The kit will be put up with windows & a roof ie wind and water tight, then start
on the inside. The block work can wait, ideally you dont want to be starting this going into winter.
House up the road from us was started a year ago and they are dragging there heels due to the
shortage of materials. Other option for you is get a self build mortgage and rent somewhere whilst
your new home is being built. You get stage payments throughout the build. Once its built just pay
it off and your not shelling out your funds from your house sale right away. :):)

They would't give me a mortgage now, I am a lazy layabout with no income! It would be cash all the way ;)
I think we will have to stick with the mundane world of purchase sadly :(
