Council demanded UK coal ‘round up’ all the crested newts in their proposed development so they got a company in that threw a plastic net around the perimeter of the site and gradually closed it, at the finish they had collected 4 newts…..the operation averaged £40k per newt…….and resulted in the best fed Herons in the county

Last i heard if planning got turned down, it gets overturned in London
