Trust you to have put the 'fluence on it!!!Although not remotely folically challenged, I did buy myself a new summer 'at a couple of weeks ago and it 'as done nothing but rain ever since!
I don't remember giving them my permission to use my ankle pic for their adverts.....
A good result there Stan!Yippeee!!!!!!
Got it for £40!
You should see the feck off enormous long lens that was in there.
As I already have some spare lenses they will fit the Canon 350D!!! (Course they will, mine is a 350D, not a 250D, duh!)
And the Binos are soooooo lovely.
And the other lot didn't go so I'll pop in, pick up my lot and get the other one prolly for £20, that one had some really nice old stuff in it, like some of the oldest movie cameras you've ever seen!!
I is a happy chap!
I thought they had extra toes?I don't remember giving them my permission to use my ankle pic for their adverts.....
Well they do seem to have air brushed the webbed part out too.....I thought they had extra toes?
Once I get it home, (Monday), I'll lay it all out and take a pic! the box was rammed!A good result there Stan!
I couldn't even give away our oak dining table with 8 chairs. Sadly I cut up the top and legs for wood turning projects and the chairs went to the tip"Brown " furniture is not selling at all.
A beautiful, Georgian style extending dining table and chairs didn't go, even at £20!!!!!!
Mad!
But model railway stuff went at insane money.
Our bloody pine magazine rack didn't go, again!
It makes you sick doesn't it, but then again, last auction we sold 4 pine chairs for £85. Nothing fancy, no carvers but admittedly unworn.I couldn't even give away our oak dining table with 8 chairs. Sadly I cut up the top and legs for wood turning projects and the chairs went to the tip
I put it on freecycle and got silly people asking me to post it I asked the local charity place if they wanted it now they are open again but they didn't as it is too big.It makes you sick doesn't it, but then again, last auction we sold 4 pine chairs for £85. Just saw a "white" bedroom suite go for £150.
The thing to do it seems, is to buy the brown stuff cheap like this, then sand it a bit paint it white make it "shabby chic" and then suddenly they sell. See it all the time on "Find it, fix it, flog it" and that other one, "money for nothing".
Peeps are daft, they could do it easily themselves!
It's a shame. Old oak stuff goes well, but mahogany don't go anywhere. And interwar, postwar oak stuff don't go.I put it on freecycle and got silly people asking me to post it I asked the local charity place if they wanted it now they are open again but they didn't as it is too big.
We tried to give some electrical goods to them but they can't get them PAT tested at present so didn't want them either.
It will all end up in the tip as I cannot be doing with time wasters or the like.
