I thought you only worked half a day on Fridays normally.Tis only a short week for me next week as I've got Friday off because it's Senior Race Day.
It's one of me Islands bank holidays.

Ah well... the actual Senior Race Bank holiday has been moved from the coming Friday to September because of the cancellation of the TT Races so I've had to use half a days holiday to take this Friday off.So you've been short changed there then.
But yes you're right, if a Manx bank holiday falls on a Friday then I don't get the full benefit. Well, until I find a new job where I do actually work a full Friday of course.

I just found out earlier that all houses under 250K are sold within 4 days here, also the mod
are giving 30k to peeps who are relocating to here from Portsmouth
Young folks have no chance of getting on the property ladder here.

Been shifting stuff int ma hippo again today. It be like mary poppins and bag. Eye can get anyfink innit as long as eye chop it up and do multiple trips wivvit.
Sat int garden int shade today wiv egdar watching the wildlife for an hour. Burds everywhere shooting about. Me ducks came for some meal wurms anorl.
Ants have been digging up me drive again. Eye has put powder down their oles.

Plans are afoot for D Day, i.e looks like we might be able to get off to France reasonably soon, provided we jump through a few hoops.
Will have to go down the DVLA wiv my tommy gun though.

25k sovs spare ont budget could get yer a top spec low miles freelander wiv some change left over.@Stanleysteamer we have just looked at a property on Zoopla just north of Stoke on Trent. Bungalow for £175k with drive and garage. I think we may take a wander up that way next week as it has potential

Wifey has found out her blessed parcel still hasn't arrived at son's place in Paris.
So she got all emotional and started talking about suing Parcel2Go etc.
She has a habit of going from A to Z without passing through B, C etc.
AND, worse than that, she got onto me BEFORE BREAKFAST. Hanging offence!!!
Looks like either the French concierge has nicked it, or some other frog git has nicked it. This is not the first time a parcel we have sent to friends in Paris has gone missing. The barstewards.
A hand knitted cardigan and a silver locket, family heirloom.
Allegedly they tried to deliver it 4 times but no one ever turned up to deliver.
We shall see. I hope stepson goes into the Chronopost office with all the paperwork and a hand grenade!
