I have just been to my local Builders Merchants for some timber.
Place is almost bare. Asked why and was told "Problems importing through European channels/sources".
I blame that little $hit Macron.
Good Evening All
I trust you've all had a good day. One more miserable day in the warehouse doing order picking for me... I know I wanted a job without any stress or hassle but I do need some mental stimulation and this job offers none at all.
Oh well, at least it's providing some pocket money (basic wage!) until I find sumfin betterer.

I'm still waiting to hear back from that place I went for an interview at last Thursday.Have you any more irons in the fire at the moment?
Sorry to hear this. It is very annoying isn't itGood evening from near Birmingham.
This COVID stuff does me in. I’m round the corner from the parents but unable to visit.
Off to kings lynn in the morning
I do hope that they have not worked out that they cannot really afford you...... with your landie habit and all those costs.I'm still waiting to hear back from that place I went for an interview at last Thursday.
Nope, everyone as far as i can tell. I had to and I have no history of owt like that.Only if you have a history of allergic reactions or anal-phallus-tastic shock

Take it easy on yourself.did LR stuff today.
Am kn@ckered!
Getting on with changing the front feck off big ball joints.
Hub didn't come off as easy as the rears did.
My old slide hammer didn't work as it is for 4 bolt hubs.
Two out of three bolts holding the splash guard came off OK, but the third one wanted to not come off, so i spent ages hunting for a 6 sided 5/16th socket. Found one eventually. Funny, in the last two jobs i have done I needed imperial A/F sockets/spanners.
Anyway, half shaft is out
Knees aching, back aching. I am too old for this stuff!! and i told myself I'd take it easy!
Anyway it was lovely and dry and warm.
Hope all had a nice day!
I'm a bit sore but pleased that i made the progress I did.Take it easy on yourself.
