If the bottom hinge is in the same orientation as that top 1 they will just lift the gate of the hinges.
Use coach bolt & nylock.
Eye have 3 hinges on each door. The middle one is in the opposite direction to stop the door being lifted oft. The posts are on the outside of the garage so eye can't get to the other side of the post to put a bolt on, if using bolts on the posts. Hence thinking of damaging the screw heads.

Yer can't stop fings being taken but yer can make it more difficult.and time consuming. House down the road had the fence at the back unscrewed so they could get in. Something must have put them oft as that's all they did. It was put back with nails from both sides to make it more difficult.

Remember I posted about a Maggie statue in Grantham. Well a local artist in an attempt to save the council £300k has commissioned this...

Reminds me of when my first garage got broken into. They only had to crop a padlock and didn't take a thing!
Dunno what upset me more, the break in, or that they didn't think I'd anything worth pinching!
I had a car stolen and they threw my tapes (shows how long ago!) out....... Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen probably not to their taste :)
