That thing looks ideal for us to trailer to and from the Canal du Midi and chuck it in, then store it on our land in the barn we don't have yet!
Ow much you got it on for?
:):):):):)

Tis on for 8k has got a brand new engine 50hp tohatsu electric start & trim with 2 hours use & 6 years warranty left. Galvi trailer had new tyres & bearings & new electric winch.
New fishy finder & fenders ect belongs to a mate of mine his wife just had a baby so he's selling up.
If I wasnt building a garage at the house id take it.

Wouldn't give a feck about the fishing stuff as Wifey is allergic to them.
But it looks nice and if it has berths for two and basic cooking equipment or space for, we'd like it.
The addition of the trailer is brill too.
Do you think £8k is what you'd normally have to pay for summat like that?
We have no idea.

Yup its a 2 berth not massive but will sleep 2 people not sure if there is any cooking facility's in it
but I will have a look tomorrow when im it the yard. Regarding the pricing its a bit more than the
other ones ive looked at but has the bonus of a spanky new engine. I sure he paid about 6k for
the engine then another chunk to have it fitted as it had to be fitted by a Tohatsu dealer to get the
warranty. I will see if the price is negotiable & what else comes with it. ;)

Kev, don't put yourself out on our behalf, unless you are interested for yourself.
If Covid was not around we might well be interested although it is a bit more than we were looking at spending AND we still have nowhere to store it in the winter.
but it is interesting to see what there is about and prices.
Are Outboards not much more nickable?
I'd prefer an inboard as speed on the canal is not an issue, nor is seaworthyness. a B series diesel would be ideal, enough power and good economy. also would heat up water via a heat exchanger. This is what we are used to on the ones we have hired in both the UK and France.

The missus was on all our boat holidays and never moaned about the inboard diesel. But never knew outboards could be whisper quiet. thort you only got that with electric!

I came from a seafaring family, (Everyone except my own parents, altho even my ma worked as a ship's doctor for a while) so if I or any of us called things by the wrong name, or even pronounced em wrong, we got told off! and no way could we not use a proper knot!
Mates of mine, who never knew this, were surprised as feck when I tied a Turk's head for them on the end of their tiller, in their little 24 foot sloop.;)

We call that knot a woggle.

Most 4 stroke now are efi fuel injected, very quiet these days only 2 stroke are sold for commercial use now although still a lot more efficient than they used to be. Ive had small electric outboards 8 hours
constant use from one 12v battery

You IS taking the Peas!
A Woggle is worn by a Boy scout

Or was this a pun - WOGgle?
(I'm not going to patronise you and talk about all the different types of turk's head.)
So do the Scottyboys call a TH a woggle just cos they want to be different?
Do they have a different word for a Monkey's Paw, a Matthew Arnold knot, etc etc.?
Fascinating!

Looky what I got :D:D:D

Sure was loved it too.. bob a job lol

I had the choice between Boy Scout, or Air Cadet, chose the latter, never regretted it. Got to do all sorts of stuff, with the Army as well. Love flying, wish I had the money to do it all again and get my PPL. Gave me an unhealthy interest in automatic weapons and military vehicles!
