Goodness! Import duty is usually 20%.Well we got up to discover the frying pan has landed!
Remember this?
In Paris.
How much did our son have to pay get it out of customs?
50 ffin euros.
For a 150€ pan.
We should have taken it out of its box, fried a coupla eggs in it, and sent it on as secondhand.
We'll know better from now on.
Don't forget this was going from the UK to France. Doubtless the frogs manage to come up with other charges.Goodness! Import duty is usually 20%.
@kevstar
As said I have been into the shed & rummaged through some boxes.
Some of the tat I have found
V8 dizzy cap
Loads of coils
Anti roll bar bushes
Series manifolds & carbs
300tdi ignition barrel but no key
Plenty of rusty unknown parts which once I recognise I know I won’t need any more.
but no door handles for you. Just a thought are you able to remove 1 from the rear passenger doors ?
That sounds like a bad night out in AmsterdamIts starting now. Badger robin and sossij.
I think it’s the release mech that needs changing. I think you remove the clips & swap overAh no worries matey thanks for looking. I went to try the one from a spare rear door the other
day but its got a hairline crack on the handle, Ive heard they need a bit of modifying to fit the front
door.
