Doc's surgery rang me today to tell me why the chemists had not processed the prescription requested about 9 days ago.
Was told it was because I had requested a minor skin treatment that I had not requested for a year.
I told them that I had not requested it for the last 4 months cos I had been out of the country, but before that every time I spoke to the chemists about it they said they just couldn't get hold of it, so I didn't bother requesting it. (I have since discovered I could buy it over the internet, I'd just have to say it was for a "medical reason" can't be used for anything else anyway.
, which is why I bovvad.))
I pointed out I had had it a for a long time in the past and it had never been a problem. Wasn't that enough to ensure I got it?
No, "I'm not pharmacy trained", (you bet, she couldn't even pronounce the most simple drug yet she is the Prescriptions Manager!
)
"You'll have to talk to the doctor."
"Fine, how do we do that?"
"He'll ring you, we'll make an appointment"
"Fine, when?"
"The 18th" (FFS)
"What time?"
"Oh, anytime" (Double FFS)
I think you can imagine some of the things I'll be "asking" the doc!
