The wine was bort direct from the grower. €9 as it is a Friday and we drink better stuff Friday to Sunday inclusive.
Content to know we'd prolly have to pay a lot more, even if we could find the stuff on the shelves in the UK.
and in a restaurant we'd be paying €30.
So not posh stuff really.
Posh sh!t has names like Chateauneuf du Pape or Margaux or the like and costs a bloody fortune! We just go to the local area and buy it off locals.
And the Paté was Waitrose rough farmhouse stuff. nice!
What did you have in your sarnies?;)
Thinking about you and the high class fish you eat on a regular basis, others would kill for that! You get what you can locally!
Anyway dinna will be gammon steaks
Yum Yum and anovva bot. slurp slurp!:):):):):) Just enjoying an apéro of Famous Grouse, not posh, you would agree;). Cheers!:)

the garage & decking for. :):)

I took my camping stove to the job today so we made a full fry up haha damm I forgot to take some pics
I'll get some next week :D:D

Mmm I do get spoiled with sea food :oops::D:D saying that think I'll have some smoked salmon

I tend to get given whisk(e)y by all sorts of people and consider myself extremely lucky. My real love though is Breton Lambig and just wish it was easily (and reasonably) available in my corner of the cosmos. I'll not be able to make it over the channel before next year (if ever) so i guess my current bottle will be my last.

Was passing through the duty free shop on me way to hols a couple of years ago, got offered a shot of a posh version of Chivas (can't remember which one), it slipped down nice and smooth. It wasn't the whiskey that made my eyes water, it was the price of a bottle :eek::eek::eek:.
