Had to pay final payment on holiday cottage booked in the Lakes for Christmas. Don't really want to go, for the first time in 28 years, we will be worrying about going away. Could only get our money back if lockdown extends or Cumbria being put into a tough tier happens.:(
Anyway, I am now under pressure to find out what is making the banging noise under the Disco and seeing about getting the bloody gearbox leak fixed. All while in quarantine, then lockdown.:rolleyes:.
Or else we, that's us and three dogs, would have to squeeze everything into the Pluriel. And that needs an MOT:rolleyes: not that I think there is a problem there but one never knows. We always prefer the Disco in winter and for long journeys.
Funny how for 12 years we did this in an ordinary hatchback, before discovering the pleasures of a Disco. So much better on country roads with dry stone walls that you could then see over. And of course less worrying if there is snow which we used to get regularly. Not much no more:(.

A bit of a dull start to the day but not actually raining.:)
Managed to get some playtime in the workshop making the new trike yesterday.:)
Today I have to begin sanding and staining the woodwork casings of the windows in the lounge.:)
Herself will be out getting her paper and her Ma's meats from the butcher, so I am let-off that chore.
No Gym today :( Thanks a lot Boris! But I can do some calisthenics here at home.:)

The casings of the new bay window in the lounge has had a rub-down and the first of 3 coats of satin black wood-stain.
Now I shall go and play in my workshop for the afternoon. :)
