A lovely sunny morning 'ere and I hope it is going to stay that way. My gardener man comes today so it is nice that he will be able to work without getting wet!
I've picked up all the tree branches and can't say I am looking forward to the massive autumnal 'cut-back'. I have a wisteria which seems to think it is a triffid and I must remember to ring the Tree Surgeons as the hedges are running riot, too. There is never a rest with a big garden! That's nice, a tidy up after all that wind and mucking about ...
A friend needed help tying up her climbing roses after last weekends blowout .. trimmed some of the old wood back for a better shape when it grows on next year ...

Now search is on for a shop open with parts for another LR
Every one enjoy you day
No, they are already 14' high and 6' wide, very thick and densely grown! They get trimmed once every year to keep them in A1 condition. In the high winds it is fun to watch them move about in a wave-like motion as they 'go' with the wind and it is good to know that they will not lose their branches. Can the hedges be 'laid down' to thicken them or are they not of that type ?...
The Doris is off to the shops this morning 10.00 where they are supposedly to have 1. We did say let’s drag it to the shop & fix outside.Good luck with your searchings, speshully as tomoz is a BH ...

Maybe he had a contracted out pension at some point. When the DWP get around to being bothered to pay mine it'll amount to £80 after tax despite paying into it all my working life. But then I was contracted out wiv a teecher's one!Morning All
Today has not started well (cat mess everywhere)
Call from a mate who is getting shafted by DWP on his state pension. They agree that he's got 45 qualifying years but they are claiming he cannot have the maximum pension payable.
Odd, because I have 42 qualifying years and their written forecast to me says I am at the max and I cannot be paid any additional.
Off to the youngest's house in a mo' to help with some wood butchering.
Brunch later. Just finishing Coffee #2.
Have a great day everyone
We had a day with a lot of rain yesterday, forecast same today, temp has rocketed down and that is when you really know you are at 600 metres up!Mid morning hello folks........
Chilli start to the day lit the fire last night as wifey was cold after sitting outside having a few beverage's,
turned it right down at 1am & with only a shovel full of the new smokeless nuggets it was still lit at 9.30.
Chucked another shovel full on to keep the nip out & keep the misses appy.
Got some old gates to modify today to see if they will suit the driveway got them for free
I do like free stuff they are 14 foot wide not wide enough for the drive so I need to
butcher an old pedestrian gate & see if I can get it to match the gates only issue is the
smaller/taller gate has round bars & the other gates have square, I'll chop re-weld & see how it
looks, but I can probably say il never be happy with it (I can see me making a new one v-soon)lol
Sun is out yassss..
njoy yer day zoners.
You and your cat! Do you ever get tempted to drop a tu rd in its bed? Just to teach it?Morning All

It also uses the cat-beds as toilets on the upstairs landing. It has mental issues.Do you ever get tempted to drop a tu rd in its bed? Just to teach it?
You aren't the only one to suffer with incontinent animals, we have to get up at least 3 times between midnight and about 8 o'clock to let our three dogs out.It also uses the cat-beds as toilets on the upstairs landing. It has mental issues.
You cannot treat a cat like you treat a messy Dog. They just don't get it.
Other than get rid of her, all we can do is retrain her and reinforce the M.O.
