................... that I changed the gearing on my Tadpole trike today and the lower range is just fabulous for my knackered old knees.
It does mean that my "top-speed" will be reduced but I am no racer and when the trike is fully-loaded for touring the lower gearing will be a godsend.
The CVT gear hub on the trike is amazing; very easy to use and very responsive, it provides a gearing of 50% to 190% of the input to the hubs sprocket.
The stock expression is "being able to climb a wall with this gearing". I am very pleased with the change.
