Would anyone hapen to have a 42mm socket or spanner I could borrow? I need to do my timing chain and have to get the dog / starter nut of. I was going to buy a socket but they are £25ish then I find they are 3/4" drive, which would mean by the time I buy a bar to go with it, it would work out the best part of £50 to get one nut off
If anyone would be prepared to lend me one, I would pay a deposit until safely returned and some beer for the useage.

Luton.
I will be at the pub on the 6th. I won't actually be doing the timing chain till the 7th (as my Brother will be down and he knows what he is doing and I don't )
