Whaddon is better for sure!!

I would rather go there than devils but devils is close and we had a £500 disco.

I have been there in my 90 but wasn't going for it as it can do damage if push it

Alright sounds like I'll be at Whaddon instead, and on the 14th not the 7th

I'll have to find something constructive to do on the 7th instead haha.

Agreed, Whaddon is good, there was a 2009 Range Rover Sport trundling around having fun without breaking anything. devils pit will **** your motor good and proper, that's if some pikey doesn't crash into you first and Devils Pit is only 3 miles from me.

holy crap, in that last video you're producing so much torque you're warping fabric of space and time :D

looks like good fun, though!

get that TDI in there!!! moore OOmph!!! looked like fun tho
Ian is on the look out for a Disco for me, we're going to do it down at his place in Devon, much easier in a triple garage with every bit of kit imaginable. Lack of power didn't stop me however, being imbedded in an earth bank did that, took 90 minutes of winching and kinetic rope to get the diahatsu that tried it before me through the stuff that I just drove through.

I didn't want to go mad spinning it up, thinking about the front axle really.

It was good to see .. makes a change from feckwits who think horse-power is all, and a far better way to make actual progress! As proved by the Daihatsu driver!

I think it needs a bit more power now, 68 bhp max isn't quite enough to power 37" tyres properly. 200 Tdi will be my choice to fit, that'll be plenty. 55 mph on the road is fast enough for me, but I'd like it not to slow down too much on hills.

BHP means nothing. Low end grunt and being able to get those huge tyres rolling gaining momentum quicker would be great.

Think a tdi would be grand spydie

sometimes you need enough umph to get you past where your tyres loose traction to keep on going

trialling is a great example of controlled driving around through and on to the next gate without stopping in absolute control

Right o some forign gents from Holland wish to come laning next year is it.somthing us Herts lot would be interested in organising and going next.summer??

they were on about paying but surley us kind English folk could plan somthing and invite them with no charge as all lanes here is a right to drive???

Spydie you up for an evenings laning in a week or two?

Thinking of a Friday night and do a late one finish early.morning somwhere after.we.fit your lights tho

Jai

Jai, yes, why not.
I need to see why my charge light keeps coming on, probably **** in the alternator connections. Also I lost another belt, don't know why I keep losing them?
