What your saying spydie is that your making your already "go further than anyone" series.... Go even further!! Lol
5 years to do it, replaced foc if I break them. They say I'll break the Detroit first.
Of course this all means that when he DOES get stuck.... there's no one well enough equipped to go in there and get him out!
I reckon you'll snap ya chassis before that!

I'm budgeting on a new chassis within the next 3 years. It'll be a custom Richards job with all the modifications that I need
Sounds good! The only trouble is will you ever reach the point where you have all the modifications you need (want)?
On the wish list at present is jackable rock sliders, there's a guy at Rocky Mountain that I met at Billing last year that's supposed to be making some, so that's a near possibility.
A roll cage I think would be a prudent idea, probably at the same time as the chassis as it'll be far easier and have something more substantial to fix to.
Whether to change to 200tdi is another question, again maybe at the same time as the chassis.
I'm still to fit the front parabolic springs that are sitting in the garage, but I need help with them.
Cost will be pretty much the same as going out and buying a decent Defender, but that's boring, anybody can do that.
Super tough back end all back together again, now to test it out at the weekend.
