Plenty over your way. If you want to join us when we're out an about, feel free, we're not fussy.Where are these lanes then ........
Bloody hellGood progress on the Spydiemobile tonight.
The Gear Cage is painted up and fitted to the back door.
The rear chequerplate cappings are fitted.
The Engine is making seriously good progress.
I've found on my doorstep at home, the people who did all of the hoses for a 4x4 is born. I've sorted the hose issue with the raised intake, so I'll pick up the bit tomorrow. One less headache.
Tomorrow night, it's fit rear bumpstops, axle check straps and steering wheel for me and more on the engine for DB. We're not far from having fire in the pipe.
can i borrow it?
It never was just a repair job, that would have been easy, until it broke again.Bloody hell
You ain't doin a repair job.... you is breedin a bleedin monster!
i was on about ryders shogun lol i will see what happens tomorrow then if i can borrow your brains i will pm you kev thanks for the help so far for what to look atWhat? ECU 'n' stuff.
Not sure about that - would be happy to come take a look. I get the impresion there will be a bit of work with a DVM as well.
The problem needs to diagnosed, then fixed. A patch up is not the way to go. Trust me, it took me a full 12 months to get mine sorted, but having been through it I have a fair idea of what does what with which and to whom and I can say the "experts" weren't even close, even after plugging it in but that is not to say I have all the answers. I'm happy to give it a shot, but no guarantees.
If you want a hand send me a PM.
Did the cage work out Ok, with the mounting points and plates. If you get chance put up some pictures. CHEERS.Good progress on the Spydiemobile tonight.

Now you tell me!!
The rad was only 12 months old but I kinda put a hole in it two weeks after putting it in but the big problem was the oil pipe union. I've been running it for a while with ptfe tape holding it together but it has finally given up, so it's a case of doing what needs to be done.
Hopefully will be up and running for Saturday but will let you know.
Tonight went well.
Inertia Reel Seat Belt fitted.
Steering Wheel fitted.
Dry fit of the engine plumbing for snorkel.
Fuel system fitted.
I recon there will be fire in the pipe tomorrow night.
Sounds good Spider looks like your on target for friday night!!!
If I dont die of exaustion first.
Been a bit of an epic really with all the mods we have done to it and fingers crossed it will have a running engine by this time tommorrow night.
I really wish I had more time to do it all together instead of grabbing a few hours here and there oh and a garage so I didnt get so wet
I really like the quailty of the Silicone Hoses and Aluminium Piping that I got today. It so much nicer working with good quality new parts. I need to visit the stainless steel shop again tomorrow, need some more fasteners. There's nothing quite like Stainless, bit more expensive to start with, but at least it can be undone again, when ordinary fixings are rusted solid.
Nothing on my Landy, that isn't 100% functional.Admit it, you're just into bling
Sounds good though, definately in the home straight, when do you think you'll be shaking it down?
