Well I have no spare tyre and i will get some oil today for the rear diff.

I've got a spare, we both can't get punctures on the same day.
If you need EP90 and can't get any, I've got some in the garage, big red drum, Scott is at home if you need it.

Where shall we meet and where shall we go?

Well that's my life every day, but fook me, that beach is is three kazillion times nicer than mine

I think I may go and live there next, do you know what the broadband speeds are like ? If not can you ask a local for me...

I was just looking at the map, would really love to visit, but can't really face 24 hours in the landy for a couple days holiday....

Anyway the Silver Bullit (my old man who has silver hair) wanted to see my dogs, so I made him a vid of the daily dog walk, with some soppy ass music

It was a bit wet yesterday though .. went swimming in the arctic ocean on a white sand beach like that in Norway last summer. On a good day you could mistake it for the Caribbean but the sea is always freezing!

My dad is flying to Inverness and hiring a car .. still pretty expensive and a lot of travelling for just 3 nights..

Got an hd video on my phone of Billy going crazy on that beach .. will try and upload now.

Jack how long to get up there? Did you do it in one hit?

I fancy a Scotland Trip xmas time should be enough time to get a sound system in and the hard top back on plus some kitting out.

Stayed with my sister in Newcastle first night.. Took about 5 hr 30mins pushing it. 2 hours on to Edinburgh Then a good 6 possibly 7 hours to skye. Probably would be quicker to go via Glasgow. All of the highland is incredible though, if we are gonna do a Scotland trip I'd probably try and look up where there are lots of tracks you are allowed down. I think I have one week in Nov and 1 in earlyish Dec off work and can't wait to get back.

I cannot actually believe this thread is still running!! Haha!! Hi y'all

Hey :)

Alarm went off at 3:45 am today got up to the Old man of Storr again this time for sunrise. Was so windy I nearly got blown away and my tripod tried again several times. Camera strap whipping me in the face and once in the eye left me blinded for a good few mins!!! My camera bag actually did take off (with lenses in) and tumbled down the mountainside about 30m or so :eek: Lots and lots of loud swearing as I watched 2 lenses fall out but unbelieveably they seem ok!!!!

Just to show you how windy it was.. This was taken during a lul in the wind .. couldnt hold the phone properly when it was gusting. Still powerful enough to eat half of Billy's head!!

A few years back I drove from Dunstable to Skye, I did it in just over 9 hours and I was pushing on. I'm guessing in a Land Rover it would take maybe 12 or 13 hours. Certainly I would say going up the West side is quicker to Skye and yes, going through the highlands is breathtaking, some cracking good roads as well as long as there isn't some foreign coach and sightseeers in the way!

With a dog and a landy its not so easy, plus I couldn't really refuse an offer of a free night and hot shower at my sister's in Newcastle :D:p

I think I'll trundle up to Woburn and play at Sandy Lane to check out the new diff.
Might visit Steppingley too to see what Center Parcs are doing.
