Spyderman. I will say only a few words to you.
Spare Half shafts!
What goes on tour, stays on tour.
anyone tried these? - gripper
First time I've seen them. Not cheap £650 plus they are I think from the website clutch plate design which eventually do wear out or need re shimming. Detroit is a propper locker and locks fully and cheaper fit and forget. Kaiser would be my next one to buy they seem good and ashcroft sell them 5 mins up the road.
dont they need air as well?
Are we ooking to return this conversatio to english in the near future?edited:
Looks to me like there is a small ammount of preload on the set of shims 6 and 7 friction between them as 6 is driven directly by carrier or cage as they call it and 7 is directly connected to 10 side gear which is your half shaft wheel. When the cross shafts rotates under power against the power ramp angle it forces 8 planet driver outward to exert more friction and tighten up and drive that driveshaft.
