Today has been crazy! Hope you guys had a good time V jelious I missed 40 foot.

Today included,

Replaced front diff pinion seal,
Replaced transfer box front output seal,
Attached Salisbury axle,
Springs,
Shocks,
Fitted full extended axle breather pipe,
Fitting shafts and a drive member,
Drianed transfer box,
Drained diffs,

Went and looked at a house,

Its been quite a busy day all in all!

It certainly is. One of the best standard motors I ever heard was a friend of mine who cut out the middle box and then swapped the back box for a huge Cherry Bomb Muff Diver (that is what it is called, honest). When he let it off the leash the noise was fabulous.
 
I have loads kicking about do you want one dropping off tomorra on my way back from Tring?

I would never of thought it would be the filter. Blockage yes, but not in the new* filter. Jai
 
It would be about 5:20, I would have to drop it and leg it as I have to drop another guy home from work but its no problem I drive right past you. I can leave it under the rangie if its easier.

I gotta see about this house thing at 6pm, we put a really really low offer in on a house we liked, so if we get it great if not we can wait it out. Nice big drive and could just at a squeeze get around the back.

Blimey I know your motor has it all... but where are you gonna fit a house?
 
Had an awesome few days at DB's, been learning all about engines and repairing bits and pieces, it was lovely to get to help with the spydemobil! so glad we managed to get the engine in, it looks FANTASTIC,
Didnt manage to fix my gasket, did fond out that the:

water pump,
tensioner,
clutch master,
and the p gasket are buggered though! so out to get me some parts tomorrow and then a days working on tuesday at DB's to fit them all and act as chief tool holder for the spydemobil

Sorry i missed today, sounds like you had a good day, i got me muds now so need to get out and get them tested!!

Huge thanks to Db for teaching me stuff, and again to DB for sorting my AT/MT tyre swap :-D

Cheers for that, I may well end up asking for a few pointers, I know bugger all about houses other than: check the roof doesn't leak, look for damp and thats about the limit of my knowledge if houses!

Yep probably in a Van the landy needs some parts from paddocks. For the first time in months I have time to leave the landy while I get the right bits.

Dan, know what you mean fella, can't wait to get it back in me garage - had to do everything by hand this weekend. My hands and arms were aching this morning I tell you. I hope DB and Spyderman appreciate the sacrifice:)
