I can defently pick u up at 1:30 but you will be at work so if you get a better offer/earlier then take it. If not and you can get some time off work I live in hitchin and it won't be a problem

If anyone is going from around here I have al the tackle that I took today... obviously can't lend out spydie's gear without asking him but I have shackles n stuff... oh and would someone bring my rope back this way with them please:)

Bob how big is Bertha?

The lane is exactly wide enough for the disco. Even then one side is likely to be waggling a wheel in the air some of the time.

Cheers Kev... it was a good day whe all was said and done. OK we didn't get the motor out and that may have been partly due to my own inexperience - but Ben and Dave a couple of nice fellas and I reckon they are going to make a nice addition to our little crew... as well as providing some **** taking entertainment for a month or two!

OK well the 90 is ready bar connecting the winch If you need me tomorrow shout. If the lane is only wide enough for a disco the 130 is a no go However The winch probably has a decent length it might be worth a shout from what I can understand the disco isn't far from civilization

Uploading pictures to my computer now. Can you post a list if you want me to pm some to you. I can be there tomorrow at 3pm if you need an extra pair of hands or if my 110 could come in use.

BoB, I could see your 130 coming in a lot of use, however if it continues to rain there will be less traction to be had, and the lane is very very narrow. If you succeed in rescuing the disco, the only way out for both of you is back where you came from which would be very difficult to reverse for such a big vehicle.

You will need a very long winch rope and pulleys if you want to winch him from a 130. Only my take on it but I have been there and seen it.

I wouldn't take my disco down there, even with muds. Jai's 90 could do it but for anything bigger it is just going to be too easy to end up with more than one vehicle in trouble... mind you if enough people turn up we could just lift the damn motor and carry it out !lol

I once had about 20 Afghannies push my Hylux back onto 4 wheels from inside a ditch after balancing it on opposite wheels not seeing a 3 meter deep trench! Twas a sight trying 4wd to try and get it out! Scared the passengers Sh**less!
