TBH if a lane is that bad to cause serious body damage we should't be driving it really All I didn't want was check out our calendar somone comes along and somthing goes wrong anyone leading the group to be in any litigation. We hae had some guys tag along and I have parked up at the end of a lane on more than one occasion until they feck off as I thought they were being Twots. I know a couple of other times there has been Twots driving in ditches to see what happens and other silly behavour.

But if we are constantly cautious about everything we do, we as a club will never meet each other and enteract in what we enjoy doing??? We are not babysitters we are here to have a laugh and enjoy ourselves. Within the law.

yu have accompanied me - I hope yu found it "unpressurised"? :D
not at all i had a great day, think maybe i was a bit toooooo kitted up for that day mind. but will definatly be asking u to take me around the same way when i get my disco tho. a bit less kit will improve my driving abilities 10 fold im sure.

but no, no pressure, just a great day

Yes I am waiting for th elocal ramblers association to turn up at our pub meet. Saying that I have no issues with most of the walkers or horsey people they are mostly just out to enjoy themselves. Some are twots one guy out of a group (the others stepped aside) walked in front of my mota for nearly half a mile. I kept back and respectfully said thanyou when he did finally move out of the way. You could see him ready to burst twas a really hot day aswell. Oh and Ryder made friends with one local chap when we drove down a legal RoW past his back garden, Fun times!

Sibble - Absolute nightmare surprised you didn't end up on your roof!!

No joking aside - all good mate good to see you had some common sense hanging right back at th ebottom of the hill climbs where there was only one way. I wasn't sure about the first one tree over hanging. I might have had to reverse back down cos of the tree but I remembered that I used to have to tuck my roof rack under a few year back by going to one side.

I don't think we have had too many bad experiences with members tbh probably more luck than judgement and who an I to say if somone is suitable. I just enjoy driving my landy on the legal lanes.

That is all that matters at the end of the day as long as every1 has a good time and no1 is injured in the process. You can replace cars/ landy's but not people.

With regards to the serious damage to vehicle, if I had a serious kitted out 90 and enjoy harder lanes and some1 ask to join me? (this was the scinerio I was thinking about)

Kris what tubeless rims have you got kicking about down your way? Got any disco steels or mabe any offset modulars/8 spokes tubeless (Shudder) I dispise 8 spokes but needs must!

It only takes one Numpty to make the whole group look bad.

Jai, Shall speak more about Wales on Wednesday as for a plan.
As you probably have also a long list of stuff to get done before then.

Hmm it worth removing the info about where the pub meet is and only telling others over PM since it is now easier than ever for any trouble making rambler to find out and organise a disruption? The last thing we want is for the pub to not allow us in after a big argument has arisen the month before...

Also just a note for the calendar Avoid publishing meeting places and times (other than pub meets) for laning trips, as it may cause 'issues' It may never do, but better to be safe than sory.

Don't worry the pub is advertised on here anyhow so I'm not worried really. Up to the others they may want it removed but I'm ok with it
