Yeah it would fit right in with most of them as it has a few dents and had 3 new front ends (none to do with me)

Only prob is police stopped it all so they go to the car park under the fly over in luton

Yeah I realise A/T would be useful but I have a set of road tyres and extreme muds..!

I may find myself having to pull some delivery vans out and dropping off my dad at work (he goes through very narrow country lanes). Last year he had to drive on the edge of a snow covered field in his Volvo V70 to avoid some numpties who had crashed and got themselves stuck...

You can see my dilemma, the road tyres are probably better all round but if I have to go into a field then id probably rather the muds. Having said that if a volvo did it last time is there really a need for a defender with extreme muds on this time?

Your thoughts please

Jack,
I'd go for the T/As in wintry conditions over the extreme muds, unless you're in deep snow the muds simply won't work.

would love to do some lanes however i think I'll still be doing this shed my garden looks like a bombs hit it and its usually pretty bad but its mental! i think I have my MOT next month aswell. Woo hoo!

I have MOT due in december. Also need to finish Moding the roof rack properly.
Are you able to do more than 45mph yet?

No not yet! I have a transfer box which means I can probably do about 55!! Anyone know where I can get a Cheap Overdrive? lol I wish!

My old mans series landy wasnt bad cruise at 70. My 90 is er lets just say its geared nice and too low!

I was fed up of having a stupidly high low range Derbyshire was awful rock crawling 1st low was too fast so my low range is now Sweet! high range is getting a 1.00:1 box instead of my 1.22:1 box.

Lol I will be fitting a higher ratio Transfer box asap to cure the problem hopefully that will be better on th elook out for the ever cheap overdrive that never turns up!
