No mate, I wish I was. I made a monumental mistake when we went down to Kris's. I should have taken the original stub axle. The one be brought back was about 25mm too long. Haven't been able to locate another one so far, though am waiting for Kris to let me know what else he has in his workshop.

Actually got as far as trying to fit the drive flange before we realised our mistake. Ah well.. certainly one for the book of experience.

Have seen them on one site for £35 or £55 depending on which one is needed. I guess I will call them tomorrow unless anyone has one lying around!

Its having the head gasket done :frusty: a week after having the Cam belt done :doh:

take the prop off, chuck it in diff lock, sorted. can drive it without a prop

I know thats what i did to get home. Don't want to run about too much like it though.

to be fair, i ran it like that to get back from wales, then to get over to surrey, no problem at all.

Hi Chris, sorry i haven't had chance to get down the workshop yet and check that out, been really busy over the Easter holiday with family stuff.

Beaker its ok to drive in difflock just drive gently cos you are putting all the power through one axle opposed to being spread between 2 but honestly you can drive for ages like this there is nothing really wrong with doing it only the above.

It's only the rear silencer and you can have it; I'll bring it along on Wednesday.

Didn't get out laning once all weekend. Went to the tip twice and now I've got my garage how I like it - Tidy.
