Think I might have found part of my death wobble problem. Britpart bushes are obviously not that great.

Nothing much, I had a wheel bearing go on me on the way to the pub meet the other night so turned round and limped home, Sorted it out now. Ideally need to get the intercooler off and the inlet manifold to clean all the lovely oily gunk off of them, also got a minute leak on the fuel pressure regulator, On top of that the car is in the garage with HGF so the landys my daily drive for the time being. It never rains but it pours!

How are things with you?

ah Its ok just trying to get everything clean inside sound proofed and quiet. its a pain in the ass every panel vibrates like billio.

Attempting to make it Quieter for the longer trips?

I'm re-attaching my roof rack at some point after a few mods to it, as well. Going to get a roof tent as i have some spare cash at the moment :D And just generally making it reliable enough to do a long trip this summer.

Cool. Sounds like fun Yea trying to get that drummin noise down a wee bit Hard tops are a nightmare. Thinking some acoustic flexible mineral wool from Wicks may be in order to keep the damn thing quiet. also trying toi make internal side panels padded with some speakers intergrated for the longer trips.

was contemplating removing the seat box and installing mineral wool under there too to stop any noise travelling up. Good stuff fire proof, water proof-ish seems the cheapest way to go.

That should deaden the sound enough, either that or some thick dense foam type stuff. would think the mineral wool would be better to work with though.

I was gonna line both sides of the hard top, then cover with ply/foam/leatherette similar to the rear door. not sure what to do with the rear floor? any ideas?

Count me in for that france trip when is comes off and don't forget we can always stay at my place in france got room for about 8 in the house and loads of room for tents if any one want to camp.
I am here now and the rain is coming down.
