anyone got a land rover rear step, like a single one, for modifying to use as a step to get onto the front of the roof rack?

I got one mate, not sure what state its in but you can have it.

doesnt need to be in particularly good nick to be honest i dont think, its so tom and carl can mod it to fit on the roof rack somehow - i dont know exactly what their plan is

Carpy hows your collection of Landys going?

I dont have a great deal of time at the moment, working most days and nights, including weekends so very little time to do stuff. the rangey is sweet as a nut, yet to decide what to do with the other one but i have recieved the cash so im not so bothered about it.

plan is 110 to go off the road (albeit hugely delayed from when i wanted to start) and give it a new galvanised chassis so it lives as long as i do. maybe a new bulkhead. then work from there.

Sorry mate... when you say Rangie... is that the one that spends too much time on its side? Have you tested the springs and shocks... do they work when all 4 wheels are on the ground?

Just wondered:D

Carpy just outter interest what do you do for work? If you prefer not to answer no probs just I couldnt think for the life of me what it is.

bar staff at the royal standard - somewhere we really ought to do a pub meet some time - 40 odd beers and ales, about half on tap, a huge car park, bloody good food, really nice pub, and not too far from you lot in herts and the guys in surrey.

in fact i might see how well a full landyzone meet would go down at say, end of march

the problem with that is that unless i give plenty of warning my weekends are on a monday and tuesday - today is my sunday. so i need to plan plenty in advance for any laning etc

Ah ok.

Pub meet sounds great idea dont know how many people would be able to commit.

Have you found a suitable salisbury axle yet for your 110? Im looking at one soon i only want the axle ends and brakes. Spitfiremk1uk is about to rebuild his rear salisbury for his 88 new crownwheel and pinion etc all new shims and seals so I will try and have a look see. I will have the diff spare from my 90 after my axle swap takes place somtime this year.
