well its started snowing here - put 2 baja claws on the back of the rangey as i have been slacknig with the wheel bearing and now cant be bothered to do it in the snow, so the rangey looks like a hotrod - i tried putting them on the front also but way too big

ahh well, let the fun and games begin

So Milton Keynes expected to get 20cm or 8 inches of snow according to three counties radio.

Landy is on charge ready! Bring it on!

Hey Carpy what transfer box do you have?

Wot I mean is centre diff or viscious coupling which ever you should't run with bigger tyres on one axle obviously a few mm mabe 10mm is ok but if the difference is more then the rolling circumference becomes much greater and the diff will have to compensate by giving one propshaft more than the other. The centre diff will not take it and give out after some time likewise with a viscious coupling it will destroy your Transfer box if on for a period of time.

Whats on your high low gear stick? high low and difflock or just high low?

Centre difflock is not designed to take much differential if that makes sense to you and defo not constantly DB do you concour?

just high low.

there is almost no circumferance differance, its just the width that causes problems! i have taken them off now though anyway, the width was just too much

so when there is just high low does the centre diff automatically engage when it is put into low?

****ting it down here.

See what it does before I go out and fit the snow tyres, it's such a ball ache to change them.

Hi folks, I'm back in civilisation!!

Dunno how much snow we're gonna get but hopefully it will be fun.

I'm putting my snow tyres on first thing in the morning, nothing will stop me with them on. If he's still in trouble let me know.
