Jai I have a boat trailer if you want to borrow it. Steve.
Hi all, went up to J E Engineering at coventry friday and got miself a shed load of BHP and a huge pile of Torques and now cant stop taking it out for test drives, yaahoooooooo!!!!!
I reckon the arm has worn through, very common problem. Defo worth doing a clutch tho while your there at that milage. Was it slipping at all or was it just always engaged? engaged=busted clutch fork,
or master/slave cylinders unlikly usually get tell tail signs before complete failure,
slipping worn out clutch.
Jai
Replacing it with a heavy duty fork, not that expensive and worth doing. Got a really good parts guy not far from the workshop.very common problem
Kris are you gonna reinforce the new one with a strip of steel and some weld?
Anyways we have assesed the new tender/boat thingy and it should be no surprise to any of you that its going sandglow? To be carried on the landy roof rack for those dangerous situations when the amazonian forest or cough cough the M25 gets impassable lol. So whos up for a greenlane/fishing/sea outing in the future?
