Hertfordshire Lanes?????

Well sorry to cut out guys but I had promised Kai that I would take him to Whaddon and He's a little miffed at the idea that we would skip it because that means he doesn't get his driving lesson/practise.

Consequently I'll be pay n play tomorrow. Anyone else that is going to be there let me know I'll keep an eye out for you!
 
Fly Tippers **** me the feck off.

Just caught (well as good as) a man in a dark blue peugeot 205 open the gates beside my dads house go up and start emptying crap into rubble sacks. I followed him up and went to open my dads rear gate got all the previous tipped stuff from behind his gate and threw it in anger out the way. Opened the gate and went t o look for a diff for spyderman after 15 mins he put the now full rubble sacks back in his car and drove back down the lane. promptly stopped reversed up again a bit as he got out i follwed him he jumped back into his car for a bit. When I confrunted him and politly asked if he was dumping stuff he come out with a good one (Why does everybody assume i'm doing wrong its cos Im african la la la) at which point I burst out laughing I politly asked him who owns the garages and which one he owned and he could answer neither with any definate answer. I said to him that I hope he is not dumping ****e cos if I see him here again that I will report him and his reg to the police. The answer is: What can I now do I have his reg I have his photo and car details etc. What can I actually do other than report this to the land owner? Jai
 
I've marked off a load of lanes near to the meeting place on memory map, not sure if they are any good, but we can discuss before we kick off.
It has been suggested that we avoid Ashwell, what do you think?

Ring the council mate cos they are after the fly tippers BIG TIME.

good on ya for confronting the guy cos thousands wont and they ruin the country for everybody. i have taken all sorts to the tip and have never had any issues. on my drive in to work there are 3 layby's that are always full of trash. from sofa's to fridges. why dont people just take it to the bloody tip?
it annoys me to the point where i reckon i would punch the buggers on the nose if i ever caught them in the act. fuggers!
 
Oh and its the enviromental health who deal with it mate.
God knows we get enuf bad press but we are not even a pimple on the world of the fly tippers. Millions of pounds are spent by councils all over the country to clear up after these lazy bastards.
There is no need to do what they do.
Ive known of many a puncture from plaster nails etc left bythese idiots.
I know the comercial vehicles get charged to dump their rubbish at the tip but come on! Is it really necessary to dump crap on all the byways and layby's all over the country????
 
Cheers DB its actually a private secure garage block or supposed to be.

RE Ashwell, If its open, legal and no lasting damage will be caused then I would say exercise you legal right to pass and repass the unsurfaced highway. Although I would bare in mind how many motas there are as one stuck mota could send the day into a long one for all. Jai

No worries mate. even private property comes under the enviromental health cos they are responsible for all housing private or not and every houshold pays council tax for waste to be taken away!
Been there before ref ashwell!!!!!!
Lessons (hopefully) learned on that day.
