Hey People,

Hope everyone is having fun. Well Ryder is half sorted we managed to get his tranny box in this afternoon. Gibbo Phil may be sorted dependant on a couple of e mails but Its all looking Good Jai
 
had a better day today, got everything off and got a new cambelt in, only thing i gota do now is re tap most of the holes around the water pump and get some new bolts then its all back together again.
 
its been a nightmare, had to spend as much on tools as i did on parts and its had a complete topend rebuild with all new parts apart from rocker arms, as long as i can get the taps and bolts to go with them it should running tomorow:):):)
 
At least you can do the work yourself though it'll be good if you get it up and going in time for the next outing but that type of thing is way out of my league. I can just about change the odd bolt!!!!!
 
Paddocks delivered 2 big boxes today. One with new Brakes, the other with trick Xenon Headlights, to replace those supplied by Lucas the Prince of Darkness.
 
im like you screwy, getting there slowly, but its definitely slowly!

nice one - i may do an order from paddocks soon - as soon as i sell some scaley things or the c2!
 
Self taught...with help from people on here of course.... Loads of thanks to Jai for helping with the xfer box this this evening... handled it like superman just lifted the damn thing into place and let kai guide it into place with a few well placed comments from above! Just got to finish getting it bolted in but need to check on the length and position of some of the bolts (don't want long one where a short one would be best placed do we!)

LB and Beth... congrats on the anniversary! We're missing you guys and looking forward to seeing you both again really soon! Should be up and running pretty quickly now. Kai has set his alarm for stupid o clock in the morning to get started :)

Tentatively looking around for a small workshop with a view to working in a different location to home... won't be for a while when things get better financially but these things all take time.

i drove down to bridgend on the sunday, and had a night out in the clubs there. got in to the place i was staying at half 3 and then headed off at 4 / half 4 ish am. drove straight to the radwell services and had a quick kip before max and brett turned up, and then headed off! camera was there from the nightclub stuff so thought fook it may as well get some photo's of the day!

So when you gonna try out these lanes around Bridgend then?
 
good question. sadly it looks as though i wont be down that way until mid june now, although after that i may spend alot more time there. if i go down any time before that i will have a poke around em! when i am there next i guess!

Let me know when you're going... I may well choose that weekend to go visit my bro!

On a different note... just been examining map 182 over a pint ( like you do ) and it seems like there are about a dozen byways and highways that we haven't explored... or at least not as a matter of course.

May well take a look over the next few days and see which ones are open.
 
let me know when you plan on taking a look! i may have to coincide taking a ganders with those times!

and yea i will let you know when i head off down that way! would be nice to do some of the lanes. theres are dozens and dozens of them and some look extremely useful!
