Well the tyres had the baptism, they are fantastic, rubbing a bit on the back, but I hope the 1 ton shackle kit should sort that.
Grip is amazing and the massive ground clearance solves all of the issues I had previously with the spring hangers stopping me in my tracks.

Did some really good and varied lanes today. Pub wasn't as good as last time, but the beer was good.

OOOHHH Yeah!!:D

them big wheels made light work of everything today, didn't even have to try. BTW a big thanks for driving me round today, a thoroughly enjoyable trip.

lamriska, great photos, nice to meet you. Hope you enjoyed the day as much asI did.

cheers kev , great navigation , and thanks for getting us all round that nasty little tight lane at the end , as bad as it was, i'd give it another go - very technical
I recon I came within an inch of wiping out the rear side window against a tree.

No, actually it was closer than that, but hey it worked didn't it? Ryder got closer, he was actually touching a tree but didn't do any damage.

I do have to admit though it was a touch close. On the basis close is when you fold both door mirrors flat against the sides without scraping paint:)

Just got in and sat down! me and glenn321 went playing in the woods :-D
Thank You all sooooo much for today, had an awesome day and i can honestly say what a fantastic bunch you are, everyone was on hand to help and give advice.
my thanks to DB for all his tuition and help throughout the day, thanks kev and spyderman for the navigation and ryder for the swr meter at the start.
Thanks to everyone else for making the day interesting and pleasant!
Also for being patient with me, i havent done much laning before and you were all really good to me!

See ya'll on the next one

Dan

leonberger, your co pilot got an excellent piccy of me coming out of the brook, any chance you can send me it please? and any others, i dont have many piccys of my landy in action so, if you have some please send em my way!!!

Amazing days laning fallas cheers, and thanks again to spyderman for the navigation etc.

Spyderman would have loved to do 40 Foot lane so will be up for it anytime mate.

iv just got in after a few extra lanes on route home. :D

You're right it was a hell v a day! Thelane at the end really rounded it off though. i know there were one or two murmers of doubt as we struggled to get through but what the hell.. we managed to pull together as a team and everyone got through ok.

Very special thanks to Spyderman for his pre planning and to Kev and Spyder for navigating.

Hell maybe I'd even give 40 ft lane another go in the disco to see whether I can measure up to the rest!

I have to say I am amazed by the suzy! isn't that machine just so adaptable... of all of us it seemed to have the least problems today... maybe that's just Kris's driving. Got some fantastic pics, especially of the river crossing... will be posting them when I sober up tomorrow afternoon.

I'd like to extend my gratitude to you all. When spyderman agreed to start showing me the local lanes in my shogun we never thought it would result in such a great group of people getting together... loads of enthusiasm and great ability and advice.. but no egos. Teriffic.

BTW. Especially nice to see leonburger and Beth again. It's rare to see another lady getting into the thick of things... makes my wife feel more at home! You're both lovely and positive people and I for on hope we see a lot more of you on our little outings.

They wil be up for you tomorrow. We took in the region of three hundred pics... my camera is set on burst, so every time I hit the button it takes six exposures and I choose the best to keep.

All images will be posted as a zip file for you all to download and the best wil be posted on the forum. hope thats ok
