Crookedspritie had some vids up a while back of holymoorside. I went with madfrank n kingson off here, spent the whole day getting stuck and recovering other people.

We got us a challenge! I'm mad for it! reckon the Rangie boys might be up for it if they can keep there v8's fed with fuel. Oh and nothing important falls off their motors on route. Jai

Hey Disco01,
Did you enjoy the day trialling?

It was good I'm well out of practice tho.

My Pop got his first trialling trophy in donkeys years and my neices did well for how much experienced driving they've had. My Pop was grinning all day even while I was knocking wheel bearings out and in and (making good a chewed up stub axle in the freezing cold!

Steering guard: Cant remember the late type Disco steering setup but if you really think you need it go for it. If you are likley to damage the steering as standard setup (no guard) should you really be driving what ever terrain you are doing in your everyday vehicle? Jai

I certainly did Jai :) and would like to do it again before long. Money is a bit tight at the moment as there is a certain amount of uncertainty about the future but I do have some put aside.

It was more for peace of mind and because of the recovery points. I liked the fact it says no modifications necessary as well.

I don't fly till the morning, back on the 26th.
I'm going to Billing, the Mud Run is mental. They said a Series couldn't do it, I said mine could, I came, I saw, I kicked ass. No problem.

I won't go back to Devils Pit, but Whaddon I'll do anytime.

Have a great couple of weeks, see you when I get back. Don't forget the 7th March.

no iv never been, i only had a landy a few months it was my 1st car, il be happy with lanes iv been out of work since august and am livin on job seekers at mo am somehow mangeing to get insurance every month it aint cheap for my age

Jamie I really wouldn't go to Devils pit at best you will have wasted £20 or £30 getting in and damaging your mota or at worst wrecking it and having to pay to get it towed home.

If you fancy comming to Whaddon you are most welcome to jump in as a passenger next time we are going or bring your mota and have a look see first.

Greenlaning is the cheapest way forward and thats all i'll be doing for a few weeks until I can sort out and flog some reconditioned landy bits on Ebay. Jai

a pic if it works
