hey kev, yep looking at a steering guards at the moment in various mags, a few times it was pretty close to the mark bottoming out,
what tyres have you got on yours? 235/70/16's? and your on std suspension right?

I am a member of the AWDC they do not have many rules. they have event insurance and as long as enough members turn up they will be happy. all they care about is that your mota is safe and road legal. if people joined and went on the forum we could hold a few loacl trials and mabe if with the AWDC concent we could do what they call a drive round. Im sure marshalls and people would be willing to help out one Sat and Sun next year Jai

i think was the lane spyder was talking about and there was a big bomb hole at the end where the range rover stoped and the old landy was dumped up the devilpit i was testing my paintball gun and come across it

Hi everyone, what sort of time do we want to be meeting up on the 22nd? I was thinking about 10am, start out with some gentle lanes at first and then head over to Dan's part of Surrey, so those with big tyres can have a bit of a go at some more challenging stuff. I will PM the meeting place to those that are interested on Friday about 8pm, if anyone is missed PM me and i will foward you the details.

Tha's right 235/70/16 Insa Turbo Dakars on standard suspension. Does quite well really. I also havediff guards and a heavy duty steering guard the only other thing really is my home made snorkel. It all seems to work quite well

10am should be O.K. for me. I assume meeting place will be your usual off A23? All things being equal look forward to seeing you Saturday.

I thought that too. Most of it is south of the M23, but there's a bit on the London side of the M25 too.
